Custom Orders & Knife Remakes
We currently do not take any custom orders. Likewise, we do not generally remake knives that we have made in the past. With that said, we have taken custom orders and semi-custom orders previously and we may begin taking custom orders in the future but for the time being we have no specific plans to open our books.

> SHARPENING & REPAIRS
If you would like to return your knife for sharpening and/or repair then please ship the knife to our address below. All of the above is done free of charge for any NORA knife and is included in our warranty. (We do not service any other knives except NORA knives.)
We ask that in the package you include a small note with your name, your email and contact number, as well as what you are requesting us to do. Shipping Policy & Rates
We try to package and ship all orders within 2 days of the order being placed but occasionally it may take us up to 4 days before a shipment is sent. NORA is closed on Saturday & Sunday and on all major holidays and on these days no shipping will occur (unless we are super ambitious that day...who knows, it occasionally happens.)

Postal Transit times are in business days and does not include Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays. All Ground shipments in the US are generally shipped by USPS or Fed Ex. Most International orders are shipped via DHL.
We generally observe a flat rate shipping policy. Below is our rate schedule and the options offered. If you need a package faster than the times given below please contact us and we can utilize Fed Ex or UPS for overnight shipments or Express one or two day shipments. Rates will vary on these options according to your location and the package size.
FOR ORDERS SHIPPED WITHIN THE U.S.
Purchase Price: $1.00 - $500.00
- USPS First-Class Package/Mail Parcel (5-7 day average, applies only to packages under 1 lb. which is generally applicable only to paring knives and steak knives ) - $ 6.99
- USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day average) - $ 9.27
Purchase Price: $500.01 - $1,000.00
- USPS First-Class Package/Mail Parcel (5-7 day average, applies only to packages under 1 lb. which is generally applicable only to apparel & mugs) - $ 6.99
- USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day average) - $ 11.95

International Shipping Policy & Rates
International customers may order online. We utilize a flat rate option for most international orders. The flat rate price is $43 US dollars. We do this for ease of use for our international customers. Occasionally, if our shipping rates are much higher than the $43 we charged then we will contact you and either ask for an additional amount to cover our shipping or we will refund you in full for your purchase. There are also times when we are unable to ship to the destination country. In such cases we will refund the customer for the full purchase price.
Because there are so many countries, its hard to say when or if we may need to charge an additional amount for shipping. We can tell you, however, that we have shipped to the following countries using the $43 shipping rate:
- The UK
- South Africa
- The Russian Federation
- The Netherlands (Holland)
- South Korea
For all other countries if you are concerned about shipping we would be happy to provide you a quote before ordering if you provide us a shipping address.
Customers placing orders to be shipped internationally take all responsibility for any customs and/or duties associated with their shipment. Please check with your respective country to understand any and all taxes that may apply.
Due to differences in shipping regulations, methods, and other factors, we cannot be held responsible for the safety of international packages. By placing an order to be shipped internationally, you, the customer, take full responsibility for your shipment and its contents (loss, damage, theft, etc.). We ship most international orders via DHL so tracking will usually be possible.
Returns & Refunds
If for any reason you are not happy with your knife, let us know. We want to make the best knives possible and we are always open to hearing from our customers.
If we can't make it right and you are not interested in an exchange then we will issue a full refund upon return of the knife. No hassles. No questions asked. Information on how to send your knife back can be accessed by clicking HERE.
We stand behind our knives and we guarantee them for life. If there ever arises a situation in which your knife requires repair and/or replacement, due to material defect or workmanship, then send it back to us and we will either repair or replace the knife to your satisfaction. Please note, however, that each knife we make is unique and numbered. There may be instances in which repair is not possible and in such cases we will make another knife that is as similar as possible. We can not, however, guarantee an exact replacement due to the unique nature of our knives. Likewise, because we custom make each knife, we can not immediately replace a knife. Depending on the materials needed and our workload in the shop, some knives may take well over 3-4 months to replace. If this is the case, we will try to be as transparent as possible about our time frames.
