This is a knife made in honor of Saint Lawrence, the patron saint of cooking. (died 258 A.D.) Now, you may be wondering… how did good ol’ Lawrence become the patron saint of cooks? Well, the story goes that while Sir Lawrence was on a grill, being literally roasted to death, he told his executioners, “Turn me over, I’m done on this side.” And THAT, ladies and gentleman, is all we needed to know about this ballsy devil dodger to make a knife inspired in his name.

We have a very cool 8 inch gyuto in CPM-M4 carbon steel up for auction. Handle is a stabilized, quilted maple with a custom 8 ball design cut into the wood and black resin casted into the voids. Blade has been dark etched with a gunmetal finish and has also been custom engraved with a Rat Fink inspired graphic.
No minimums. Highest bidder wins. Auction ends at 7 PM PST today (2.12.17). Winner is responsible for making payment via Pay Pal within a half hour of auction close or we will move on to the next bidder.
