This is our standard work horse grind geometry. You can see the 3 areas where the geometry changes.

Closest to the edge helps with food release, middle is flat ground to the top to allow the blade to push though the food with minimal pressure, top shows the taper to the tip to allow a balanced feeling to the knife when using it. This is before the final finish and all of these areas will be blended together to give a uniform finish at the end.

Just wanted to share on the functionality side of our knives since this one stood out right away and we have been focusing on our design alot lately without giving a background on how our knives work. All of this is done by hand and varies blade to blade slightly depending on shape and use. - Steven
