So a little background…The name “NORA” is a nod to my (Dani’s) Oklahoma born grandmother. This is her: Nora Alice. Tiny woman…huge heart. She sold AVON to make ends meet and stacked vienna sausages in perfect pyramids whenever guests would come over. She passed away quite some time ago and I loved her dearly.
Steve and I had always planned on naming our daughter Nora but this was not in the cards for us. Instead we were given two amazing, exhausting little boys.
And so, our business became our third figurative “baby” when we decided to name it NORA. It was the best way we knew how to honor her memory.
One of the finest women I have ever known, Nora was graceful but hardy, simple but skilled. She embodies everything we want our knives to be and we are proud to have her name on every knife we make. #noraknives #knowthyknife
